The Bob Hamilton Jazz Trio was founded in 2008. Featuring Bob Hamilton on guitar, Chris Sprague on bass, and Noel Brennan on drums, the trio performs serves up an adventurous mix of contemporary, traditional, and original jazz. Performing every Wednesday (8:00 to 10:30) downstairs at Empire, this house band can push thru a hard driving Bird swing tune, a dirty Mingus blues, and an experimental take on a traditional standard. Playing host to an array of guest musicians, the trio aims to play exciting, spontaneous, and adventurous mix of all types of jazz.
